Things to Remember in Looking for a CAREER

Many books are published focusing in tips in finding a job you want. I prefer to advise though that this maybe effective. I am more concern in the finding of a career which will brought you happiness, dignity, peace and success.

What makes you motivated in the job? -  A simple yet very revealing question on a person which will find time listing the things that can motivate him/her to the job. Money, relationship and even dreams can be part of it. Making it more specific will be more appealing to oneself. It is effective also when choosing a course but I will tackle it more deeply maybe on succeeding blog. Remember also that it should be somehow align in your job so that you can maximize your time and effort.

Thus your job matches your personality? – Remember that there are jobs which will require you to make an extra mile or bring you outside your comfort zone. A particular example of this is salesmen which should be out-going type of a person. But still inventory yourself well in as much as taking a risk because who knows it just yet to come out or hidden all along.

Do you ask others that can help? – There are many people willing to help you. You relatives, friends, school teachers, mentors and other people who can help you evaluate your skills, personalities and even your temperament in life. There are also ways you can choose from like personality test, EQ, IQ and more.

What a REALLY man SHOULD be

I want to share for this week is what a man should really be. There are some vital things that a man should have that should not be compromise or non-negotiabe. These are things that can make a difference in our home and also in our society. I want to focus especially for those who are father or soon to be a father. As a man, these are the things that inspired me for this week.

A real man hands down SPIRITUAL LEGACY - these are the things that a man got through in life which someday they can look back at. These are sufferings or bad situation that have been successfully been undertaken by the grace of God. These things will someday become your strength in trouble or something to look back at and smile when you are in remorse. As a father, these are the things that will enable you to cope up with stress in the family and wisdom that you can later share to your children. The point in spiritual legacy is that, God empowers you to encounter those things, to set them as example in the coming years. –“Thus God ever done anything really special in your life”

A real man earns RESPECT - have you ever encounter someone which can quiet a crowd when he passed by?-which are few in this generation that you can really be proud of. Those men gain respect through time. They emulate qualities such us respect. In there houses they command respect. Respect for women, such as treating them appropriately. Respect for others which they will never abuse. These are things that should be done consistently and with conviction. When these respected people showed up, a higher standard entered the scene.

A real man emulates MERCY and JUSTICE – these are people who help people who need help. Compassion should always be in the heart of a real man blended with a great sense for justice.

A real man is a man of STABILITY - these are people which you can count on. Consistency in there decision is a thing that they will never compromise. When you loss direction the best way is to go home. A home is a sign of your father’s stability, someplace you can go back to.

A real man has WISDOM – a wise man is man who has bee with God and knows what in His mind. Wisdom is the ability to apply truth to the issues of practical, day to day life. Wisdom is also called “sanctified common sense” which you can observe in our parents and grandparents.

Knowing that you can be a LEADER

“The true measure of leadership is influence-nothing more, nothing less”- John Maxwell, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership

I think influence is the thing that should be learned by everyone. Many people find there happiness when they are taking in-charge especially in work but others are happy supporting the decisions of other people. But regardless of this feelings we can safely conclude that many (if not all) feel that there feeling of significance are based on there contribution in the outcome of the things that they value most (things like their career, relationship and anything they set there mind into). Many times it is compromise because we need to be under by other people especially if we are in the bottom or middle of the organization. So I would like to share this things that hopefully inspire you to widen your horizon and change the way you influence your immediate superior.

Five Levels of Leadership- Developing the Leaders Within You

Position (Rights) - People follow because they have to.Influence doesn’t extend beyond the lines of your job description.- Most turnover is due to this (lower morale).

Permission (Relationship) - People follow because they want to. People follow beyond stated authority. This allows work to be fun. But staying too long on this level w/o rising will cause people with high motivation restless.

Production (Results) - People follow because of what you have done for the organization. Most people sensed success here. People liked you and what you are doing. Problems are fixed with very little effort because of momentum.

People Development (Reproduction) – People follow because of what you have done for them. Long range growth occurs here. Your commitment to developing leaders will ensure ongoing growth to the organization and to people. Do whatever you can to achieve and stay on this level.

Personhood (Respect) – People follow because of who you are and what you represent. This step is reserve for leaders who have spent years growing people and organizations. Few make it. Those who do are bigger than life. Only others can put you here. They do so because you have excelled in leading them from the first four levels for a long period of time.

I find it inspiring that even if I am not the manager or the owner of the company I can still influence the persons under me, above me and alongside with me.  Now I based my decisions to further improve my relationship with the people around me.

Hope you get inspired,
Godbless everyone

Something that I missed along the way

"That what you say and what you mean are the same. What you promise, you always intend to keep it. What things you say - is what exactly what you plan to do". The best definition I read so far.

This morning I learned about integrity in the life of Daniel. Daniel, which was thrown to the lion’s den because he cannot compromise God in his life showed me the true meaning of integrity.

This is a situation where I saw my self compromising and making excuses in my life. I always thought that compromising is good and everybody is doing it. But God showed me this day that life is to live with integrity. Reputation and integrity is very different. Reputation are the things that others see in your life but integrity was something deep in you. A man with integrity will always be trusted and can be successful in life because God is with him and God delights in him.

How to maintain a life of integrity

change NOW – Don’t wait for situation to get better before you change. Don’t blame others in the level of integrity you have now. It is a change inside of yourself regardless of your condition outside.

ADVANCE planning- set the things that you will not compromise with. This is helpful because when you face this kind of problem you know what things are not for you to compromise. These are the things that will make you dependable in life. You can’t become men of integrity on the spot.

DEVELOP devotional life – God should be the rule not the exception. God should be the source of our integrity. We should live according to His example. Constant communication with Him is the key for the path of integrity.

find ACCOUNTABLE friends – Friends that will ask you the hard questions. Friends that will ask you what you are doing and what you are not doing. This I will write in depth on my following blogs.

REMEMBER to focus on God and not in our circumstances – if we always look in our circumstances rather than what God is doing in our lives we will not be extraordinary. God use circumstances to develop and make us extraordinary. He is using us in His purpose in this world. Now that is worth remembering.

Godbless everyone

Joseph the Dreamer -Purpose in Life

The Thing that really inspires me right now is like that of a Joseph the  Dreamer story. A God's message that is written in a  life of hardships and preparations. God prepare Joseph in so much way. He got hurt, sold, deserted and jailed.
But God let all of his misfortunes be a preparation of a purpose that only Joseph can do because God is with him. Even if everyone deserted us or everyone hurt us remember that if God is with us everything has a purpose. And  I think God have that like of purpose to all who believes in Him. We should strive to walk each day of pain and sorrow with gladness in our hearts that God have wonderful plans for each of us. He alone can place us where we must be. A purpose driven life is a God centered life.

Godbless everyone

Things that inspires me right now

I am inspired right now because God showed me my purpose. I'm always looking for my significance in life and now I found it.
At first I try to look for material possession then success in career after that I pursue knowledge. But I felt discontented. My heart longs for something that is permanent that will eventually stop my ever wanting. But all this things are meaningless. I'm pursuing things that will eventually be corrupted, destroyed and eliminated. Wealth will perish someday regardless of how much you acquire. Work you treasure and are laboring your whole life will be replaced and shaken by others that will replace you when you retire. Persons with knowledge will not be so different with a fool when they are both dead.

God reveal to me that we must seek Him, our Creator. He who design us, mold us and continually guiding us to our purpose. We can be more effective in using things by following the manual of the one who created it. It is the same with God. We are His creation and he is our Creator. What is better to do than to do what God intended to do with us.

Now that is why I am living right now. Godbless everyone

Do you have things that needed different approach?

How to handle the Multi-Hat challenge- John Maxwell  360 Degree Leader

Remember that the hat sets the context when interacting with others
-If you change hats, keep in mind that the context changes. The goal often determines the role and the approach to take.

Don’t use one hat to accomplish a task required for another hat
-Take the time to cultivate each working relationship on its own terms, and acts accordingly, it’s often the a balancing act

When you change hats, don’t change your personality
-your attitude and behaviour should be consistent and predictable with everyone. Otherwise, you won’t be trustworthy in the eyes of anyone you work with.

Don’t neglect any hat you are responsible to wear

Remain flexible
-The key to taking on the multi-hat challenge is knowing what hat to put on at anytime and enjoying the challenge it offers. They need to be able to turn on a dime or change hats at a moment’s notice.

Unemployed Doesn't Necessarily Mean Out of Work it is called Jobhunting

Have been unemployed for three weeks now is really a struggle but I am enjoying it. There are still a lot of things to do and I am enjoying what I am learning especially the way things are for the past four years. I am still trying to reach out from my old friends while keeping the new. I am devoting now my time to plan and organize my time in job hunting and I am happy of my progress. I am still learning what are the skill of a good job hunter and reading books to supplement my search. I highly recommend the book "what color is your parachute" it is a gem and very fun reading it.
Do you lost your job recently? Don't give up there are still good jobs out there just know what you love to do and don't stop pursuing it. Godbless

Inspired? Hopefully,
Albert

TQM- I believe in it

In the competitive market environment of today, organizations need to find ways to become socially responsible and to assimilate internal and external factors in their strategic management in order to deliver the highest product or service quality to their customers. Modern organizations strive for distinguished quality of leadership, management, employees, work processes, product and service, so that their products not only meet customer needs, but they are also offered in an incessantly improving, appropriate, cost-effective, pioneering, and productive manner.
One major component of strategic management is Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM originated in Japan in the 50s by Americans W. Edward Deming and J. M. Juran, but became popular in many countries during the 80s. Being a structured approach which aims to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty through continuous and innovative improvement of quality, TQM is a buzzword analyzed as follows:
  • Total: quality is address to any organizational member of activity
  • Quality: characteristics of a product or a service that satisfy customer requirements
  • Management: quality can be managed
TQM views quality as the main tool to boost productivity and lower scrap and warranty costs. As the output increases both quantitatively and qualitatively, customer response and organizational reputation increase at a double pace because customer needs are met effectively. Within this context, quality is the main driver for corporate success through incessant learning and advancement.
TQM focuses on meeting customer requirements, while reducing development cycle times and product/service costs. Aiming to achieve long-term customer satisfaction, TQM necessitates the equal participation of all organizational members in the effort for continuous improvement in organizational culture, attitude and operations.
Successful TQM implementation necessitates organizational change. This involves primarily education of all organizational members in order to pursue new strategic thinking and be able to identify the customer target groups and the required production outputs. Setting true customer requirements serves as the basis for pursuing a continuous improvement strategy. In addition, the ability to identify market opportunities that would improve the positioning of the organization with the use of value adding activities is important in the process of delivering the highest value for the customer at the lowest cost. In doing so, the organization focuses on prevention and not on correction, reducing the chronic waste and variations in product/service quality. The use of Standard Operations Procedures (S.O.Ps) and structured methodology to describe a process improvement facilitates the elimination of wasteful steps. Finally, the leaders of the organization must involve all organizational members in the strategic decision-making in order to boost employee motivation and adopt a new organizational culture which would inspire the will for innovative act in a climate of trust and respect.

Tips On Surviving A Break Up - Desperately Wanting Answers!

I just want to share what I had read-

So you want tips on surviving a break up?

I know exactly how you feel '“ In fact when I went through my break up with my ex she said that she needed to be by herself for awhile to get things worked out so we broke up.
The problem was I still loved her big time and wanted to get back with her!
But I have a secret for you '“ and it is this;
I got back together with my ex and I'm going to give you some tips on how to survive this whole mess!
And think about this '“ almost 90% of the couples that break up still have emotional ties with their ex's.
This is very good for news for you and I '“ especially when you consider that if we use this information to our advantage we have a good chance at getting back with our ex.
So when you are desperately wanting answers to tips on surviving a break up, spend some time and dwell on this'
Empathetic Longing and Wanting
All empathetic longing and wanting really is, is using empathy and the idea of using time and a bit of human nature to get back with your ex. You can do this in a few different ways.
1 '“ You can prove your empathy by writing a simple note to your ex to actually say that you are ok with the break up. It's a tough step, but it works and hang on because it's only the first step.

2 '“ Slow down on your communication with your ex, this actually works on the longing portion of the plan. You both have things to figure out and negative communication is where you guys are at right now and that is no good; so slow the chat down big time.
3 '“ When you do chat with your ex either directly or through your friends, let him and anybody else that needs to know that you are doing fine. This is harder than it sounds to do but it sends a very big message to the world that you are strong and self confident. You are now working on the wanting part.
4 '“ After the dust has settled a bit set a time to meet with your ex. Be patient and keep it on the down low for awhile; your are actually playing a little hard to get. More wanting is going on.
5 '“ During the meeting watch for signs of wanting from your ex. You have playing a little hard to get and it's human nature to want what you can't have. If you notice, your ex is probably real glad to see you.
Warning: If you rush these steps or confess your undying love too soon your ex will run the other way. It's not attractive to appear needy and wanting. Not now!

What do you do when you fall in love with your friend?

Is there any way to avoid or alter a relationship that has been doomed to friendship? Perhaps. The only way to break out of the friendship role is to stop being a friend and start acting like an available lover. You may choose to be forthright and explain to the person how you feel, though by now, it may be too late. Some have found using seduction techniques (explained in the last chapter) to be successful.
These techniques might involve dating other people in order to make the person jealous; or using hypnosis-style conversation (to force them to see you in a sexual way); or just establishing yourself as a successful "leader" in some respect (or perhaps a unique talent). These techniques may help to wake up your ex and force them to realize you are a sexual being with needs.
The worst possible thing you could at this point is to continue being a friend and continue "needing" this person so much that it's embarrassing for both of you. You must be willing to distance yourself from this friend, if he or she is not willing to give you the romantic relationship you want. (This doesn't mean cutting off all ties, it simply means keeping a reasonable distance) This may cause him or her to see you in a different light or it may not. Regardless, you must be willing to walk away and find happiness with someone else even when you fall in love with your friend.

Do what Jesus would do, be where Jesus would be

Hi guys,
I want to share what Jesus is doing in my life today. He made me realized, that this life he has given to us is not for us alone, it was meant to be shared and given unconditionally to others.

When Jesus Christ was still alive and preaching, He done great and mighty things here on Earth to various type of people.  Let me classify this people as the religious ones, the secular type and the broken type.

This people are all mentioned by the bible and is still continually being reaching out by people of God.
This is a purpose for each one us. To follow the example of Jesus Christ, to be where he ones been and do what he ones done to others.

This is an interesting poll- Don't You Think

Hi Guys!!!
I'm a big fun of this book, it is very insightful and very practical to do every day.
How much of your time do you spend with your love ones? Do you prefer quality than quantity? When was the last time you feel really loved? Have you heard your loved one saying you don't understand what I feel or needed? or having to ask someone that what they do or say is not what you want them to do or say?

P.S. There are more things that I will share later on, so please don't hesitate to comment.

THIS IS AMAZING

This a new chapter of my life. Now I will do the best I can to make the most out of it
